Nice! The workmanship on these is outstanding and install was probably one of the easiest plug & play things I've done to my truck.

 

This 2lo kit combined with the Locker anytime mod I feel like my spicy taco can go anywhere

Really enjoying mine. Actually I just ordered a 2LO switch for it, maybe I'll have time over the long weekend to install it. I'd watched this thread for a long time, and when I saw that U2NG was going to cease production I just pulled the trigger. Backing up a trailer is so much easier!

 

The switch helps out a lot. Aside from making it easier to engage or disengage, I believe it also keeps the 2LO engaged after you turn the truck off (and turn it on again).

 

Yes, that's correct. If your use entails repeated shutting off the engine and restarting it while still in 2LO, the switch is definitely the way to go. When I use mine, I put it in 2LO, do the job and then switch it back to 2HI, so I never bothered with the switch.

 

I just did it for ease of switching. I do like the way that Jaimes programmed it though, it's sleek. I can be absentminded when (severely) sleep deprived which happens all too often. So I'll have to shut the truck off to open the cap or unlock the tailgate. The switch will help with those times for sure.

Anyone ever start your truck and the 2 lo lighting sequence starts. Only happened to me once (while in 2 hi). Just curious

 

which locker anytime did you setup? ive been meaning to add it. this setup was super easy

 

How did I miss this? I could have bought one months ago had I known. This is where I cry. Please OP, do a limited run.

 

Keep watching this thread... someone sold a used one (still fine) a few months back. Im guessing due to the fact that they got rid of their tacoma.

This kit is perfect if you have a manual transmission and tow that way you aren't feathering/wearing out your clutch the whole time since reverse gear is such a weird ratio

 

That reverse gear kills me. I have a 120-foot flag driveway to back out of whenever I leave my place. It's uphill, with hedges on both sides, and an eight-foot apron. Plus, I have a canopy. And the neighbor parks one of his cars opposite my driveway on the curb. I'm just a tad concerned that one of these days, as I go flying backwards, I'm going to hit someone or something. Blind, going backwards and blazing along, what could possibly go wrong?

 

I'd like to know when more become available please.

 

If this is the case, I would be willing to get a batch made and (presale/deposit) sell them off with a cut back to @Up2NoGood .

 

I am ready to buy if there was ever another run of these.
