Nice little stencil you cut, was this media blasted or acid etched?

Back when I was in school we had paper you could print on with a laser printer to acid etch metal plates. I think it was originally sold for making electronic boards.

Thank you. This was cut out on a friend’s vinyl cutter. And 2 coats of Krylon Fusion. Etching would have been better but unsure how to do that

Got my new scope zeroed on my National Match rifle. Heres 10 shots off the elbow at 200 yards. Not bad for 12 mph winds. 99-4X since the .30 cal rule ups one of those 9's to a 10 since its on the line.

It actually pretty decent, other than the fact that it didn't come with a barrel nut installation tool. It was a huge upgrade from my carbine length plastic handguard and FSB.

I got it b/c I needed to find a rail with the right length for my 11.5 barrel and slr linear comp combo. The only options seemed to be SLR rails and they were too pricey. Found the tac pac rail on AR15.com's EE for I think $60 shipped. Can't complain.

I have owned basically every handguard/rail ever made..

I prefer the BCM handguards hands down.

They are 170ish. Worth every penny.
Spend the extra 70$ and get the bcm

Barrel for my pistol build came in. Ballistic Advantage Performance series 9”. NiB Coated barrel extension. I’m excited. Getting close to being finished but I’m taking my time buying parts. Not over spending and buying the right part the first time. (It’s mocked up with an old barrel but right now)

The 16in in my pic has the bcm mlok rail. Love it but the length options weren't gonna work for my 11.5 build.

What made you go with the CompM4S? I still prefer my old CompML2 over a T-2.

It is off my old one. I have a comp M5 coming but I changed my mind. Rather spend $3k on a thermal so I swapped it to this one. The ounces are negligible. The thermal is on the long gun for pigs.
just got breaks and flash hiders for all three. Two AR’s and a 10/22 takedown.
The long AR is my pig gun and the ATN THOR 4 will be on that.

comp M4 is six years old. Still a beast. Never changed the battery yet and I have never turned it off.

    ain’t broke don’t fix it.

I'm a fan of the BCM m-lok handguards as well.
