Anyone know if the stock skid plate from a 2nd gen (the tin foil one) would work on a 3rd gen?
Found someone semi-local who is selling his 3rd gen TRD PRO Skid plate and wants to do a trade of my skid for his + cash.

Wrong! Actually, the majority of Tacoma owners like chrome. Otherwise Toyota wouldn't put it there.

I mean, I really can’t bring myself to join the odyclub forum. I do love our primary vehicle. It’s a workhorse. But there is something far more enjoyable about tweaking the taco.

Back on topic, I replaced my steel spare with an OR rim w TPMS so I’m prepped for 5 tire rotation next time I buy new shoes. Anyone know of a shop tool version of the wrench used to lower and raise the spare? The OEM toolset works great, just requires a bit of assembly and then repacking vs grab and go. And now I will attempt to read all the threads about tire recommendations, be back in a few years...
