Either I leave it in the off position, in the ignition.. or in the room above the bike. I guess its not far enough away

My bikes live on their battery tenders when I’m not riding them. I get about 5 years life from a battery.

I gotta believe some other parasitic drain is going on, even with the key close and a little light beeping it shouldn’t die in 3 days. Worth bringing up to the deal when you take it in for the break in service.

Did a cheap mod today. Put my headlight guard back on and wrapped 3 layers of yellow vinyl over where the running light is. I dig it.

If I ever need more light I can just fold the guard down.

I’m guessing two four packs per side, decent haul

I’m thinking three packs per side. 2 and a half packs in their upright position. And then at least 2 more laying down on top per side.

    Well. I’m a fucking idiot.

Went to start my bike... and for some reason... I did not sit on it... or take the wheel lock off.... started the bike while standing next to it... and it was in first and ya boy... flew.
I fell. Bike fell. Fucking everyone and their mother was in the parking structure.

I was of course... in my boxers. A shirt and sandals .. looking like a fucking huge goober laying on the floor.

Minimal damage to the bike and myself thankfully. Lol. Just this scratch on the rear brake lever and my throttle grip is a little tore up.

Hope everyone’s night is going better than mine

    808 ALLDAY!!
    that'll happen

I've done that before but only once years and years ago:rofl:

I was standing next to it at the gas pump, clicked the key on and hit the fire button, off she went......I always seem to look for a green light in the cluster for neutral from now on...

Now you know! None of my street bikes start if the kickstand is down. Does Harley not have this dummy/safety feature?

    what he said^^

bikes shouldn't start without clutch in if in gear or if kickstand down - only Harleys are able to demand absurd money for zero performance or technology. either way, nice one. get the garage cam footage

On my Suzuki you have to pull the clutch in to start regardless. The Yamaha will start without the clutch in neutral only.

It's only been about 4-5 years ago that Harley finally introduced a clutch interlock switch so you have to pull the clutch in to start your bike. Still no sidestand safety switch.

Safety features? We don't need no stinkin' safety features! We don't even need helmets! A doo-rag and a get back whip! That's all the safety we need!

Didn’t have these problems when you had to retard the spark and kick start them. It’s these newfangled electric starters causing all these problems.
