I’m going to be using Hp tuner to cancel the trouble codes related to this system and others. Just deleting it will put you in limp mode I believe.

 

I saw a thread in here the ther day about removing the SAI. It was very complete and had part numbers and stuff for blocking plates for components removed

 

I cut the tubes off and welded the ends shut. This allows much better access to the studs and makes getting the headers into position much easier. Other than that, all you do is remove everything that attaches to that system.

 

I have been here trying to find it. Which headers did you go with ? We installed a set of the Spec u ones on another truck. The worst part was havng to seperate the steering shaft

 

These are jba. I don’t have to separate the steering shaft. I removed the top mounting studs, which you have to remove anyway, and that gave me enough wiggle room.

 

The 2TR goes into limp mode when the system goes bad, so I assume it's the same on the 1GR.

I actually have no idea what this going back to stock unbuild is going to cost or how longs its going to take.
