And if you can adjust the numbers for the alternator/ecu voltage boost, then it would be all worth it.

Not at all. From what I've heard is Atkinson cycle is completely cut from it because it makes 0 sense for towing and it should haul just fine when ect and s mode is engaged almost if not better then factory especially if on premium tune

Yessir. From OVT's previous posts about it, it sounded like it will be similar to the MT SuperFOB tune. FOB was supposed to not be good for MPGs, but I get more with it as does everyone else that posts about it. Add in the killer torque and there's just no reason that I can see to not use it full time.

@OVTune, with all due respect a 5 minute post/update when you miss a deadlines that you set (August 11) would solve a lot of the comments posted on this thread.
Business owners need to realize when you get frustrated and lash out at 5 percent of the posters that attack you that you are saying it to the other 95 percent of your customers also.
Many of the customers that own 2016/2017 trucks have a butt load of miles on their trucks and looking to trade them off and are still waiting for this final update. True you never promised that last final but you did say you were going to deliver it.
I personally would like to get the last version that has the performance, gear lock and tow just so I can plan to move on or move to VF.
90 percent of problems can be solved just by communication but all anybody is asking for is what you stated you were going to do and the time line has turned into months and even years to get to what you said you were going to deliver on this 2.0 tune in its finished version. If third party venders are holding you up just say so!

100% all this. Hopefully before summers over is all I want lol I don’t even care about GL or Tow. Just performance tune so the vehicle can accelerate properly through a turn.

You’re right. Went undetected lol. Getting new fuel pump but they said will have to come back in again to install the recall pump when available.

I agree, having just dropped money for a tune for mine based on previous positive feedback I was certainly expecting by the posts that the 2.0 final with GL and tow would be available before I leave for a cross country trip towing a HEAVY rented TT through the rockies in a month. I hope it comes out.

    Hey, Folks.

Just in case (and this will get buried), but I think a lot of you may be doing ECU Updates still. The ECU Update thread 1st Post has been heavily updated, including today with @Shellshock 's step by step TechStream installation guide.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ecu-tsb-update.562550/

Hopefully it is more useful for everyone.

Lol, I wouldn't worry too much about the critics. They are the minute minority. We're living in the age of the candy-ass now.

I've received everything I had paid for and expected. The "final final final" time line is irrelevant as I know it will arrive. I guess I accepted this when I started years ago. Still, people tend to cry because they expect things according to what is acceptable to them and nothing less. I'm happy is all that matters to me.

I'll be content when the final product is complete so I can unwatch this thread for good.

I do not recall saying 2.0 performance / tow is coming out on August 11th.

I believe my post said Rafael is working on making the current 2.0 tunes editable in VFT format and releasing around this time.

2.0 release is finished. The current version is the finished, released, base version.
I would think everyone should go back and look please because months to years we have released many versions if you include testing, betas, etc.

I try to refrain from even posting in this thread anymore because take one comment and twist it into something completely different way too many times.
