That blower is really quiet compared to the one on my 2nd gen! Looks like a very nice kit, I am a little jealous of the improved intercooler design they have.

its going to be a bit quieter bc its the new 1900 rotor pack. also it being a larger blower is spins less. with that the whine is less because you dont spin the life out of it. but that also prevents heat generation and other issues.

Where does the intercooler mount to? Lower front of the radiator?

I expected more than that. And gauging by the RPM it looks like wide open throttle but perhaps it wasn’t. Just seemed lackluster to me that’s all.

well like i said a truck on 33s is a bit slow, add about 1000 lbs of extra gear and bumps and what not is about even to a shock truck.

Can you provide verification? Because if using vFTuner, entering in tire size and gear ratio only sets appropriate shift points. Not to mention I'm sure Mat would love to have the knowledge of how to do something within his own software that has eluded him for years.

I think the reaction is because the expectation is that it should enter low earth orbit for that money. :notsure::notsure:

yeah. using his software, i don't know how they could program something into the ECU that's not available in the software..

Asking for tires and gears is used to change shift points, not the speedo.

It’s cool man I get it. You’re selling these and installing them to run a business. I wouldn’t want them to seem like a disappointment either.

I guess for the money and how long it took them to release this product it’s just a letdown. But I wouldn’t buy one anyways so it’s all good. Carry on

I understand. Just given what's been said by those of us who are familiar with the OVTune software and development process, my only advice would be to caution against how you advertise the speedo correction.

I get it. It's something that lots of people desperately want, since many don't also want to have to use Hypertech, but ultimately people are going to trust you less if you advertise information that may be inaccurate until proven otherwise.

I'm not actively calling you a liar. I understand that you're effectively a vendor in this situation, advocating a product that you'd like to sell and install. So given what is known directly from Mat, the wizard of the software they're using for tuning, I'm just saying to perhaps be careful about statements regarding the speedo correction part.

Looking forward to seeing more of these supercharged trucks out on the road! I personally know someone who is getting one installed on Monday, with accompanying videography and photoshoot and whatnot, looking forward to seeing it in person.

ya the length to get these out was a bit of a let down. and we build trucks for a living blowers are just fun add ons. from what the customer said, its extremely noticeable that there is more power. it was throughout the band, great feel. in the end it does provide more power to the wheels then stock motor make at the crank.

I am sure if you get some bigger injectors, fuel pump and a smaller pulley these trucks will zoom with this blower. I know it because its a bigger blower than mine, and with a few mods you can really wake them up. Another thing you guys have to consider is this will be a carb approved kit. Which means you have to jump through certain hoops which can limit the way the kit is sold.

As long as it’s helping in the lower end that’s really where these trucks struggle.
