Just got these today. After being quoted over $1000 for ceramic coating I went the cheaper route and picked these up from PTP for $250. These are made for the Raptor turbos specifically so they are cut for the manifold inlet and wastegate. They do seem a little narrow but I'm going to try them out. Figure these with some exhaust wrap should more than do the trick.

Funny. I emailed them to be sure it fits the powermax turbos. Good stuff

Unless I'm mistaken the powermax turbine housing has the same external dimensions as the base.

I thought heat shielding was provided with the kit. Did I miss something?

Matt has said it is, what he bought is extra for his own benefit.

The stuff Matt is providing is a stick on heat shielding that you put on critical nearby components to prevent them from melting. Those specifically protect those components from the turbo heat. Turbo blankets are going to keep the heat in the turbos which will reduce overall heat in the entire engine bay and protect nearby components. Keeping the heat in the turbos has it's performance benefits too.

This isn't meant to downplay what Matt is providing. Just a different purpose. What he provides also saves the customer almost $250 while providing adequate protection. I'll actually be using the stuff Matt provides as well just to be safe. I just went the extra mile.

Thoughts on turbo filters when on dusty trails?

That won’t work, unfortunately. Pre turbo flow has to go through stock MAF sensor; which is part of the OEM air box.

Any concerns with offroad dusty conditions?

These are running off of the stock airbox and filter. No less a concern than factory. If you are worried, get a snorkel that works with the factory airbox.

My injectors are in! I ordered mark 1 but they sent me what was available. Looks like mark 6.

Curious how the instructions will look for DI replacement. Seems pretty in-depth and technical.

Should be same process as regular fuel injectors, I’m sure it’s pretty easy. Can’t really mess up. By looking at it, it probably clips to the fuel rail.

I just imagined them buried deep in the motor like a diesel. Tbf, I truly don't know.
