I think those were the rims for the 4runner at the SEMA show. I think that's where the name comes from. Probably wrong though haha. What UCA u got?

Makes sense I guess. They were on the truck when I bought it. All I was told is that they were TRD PRO wheels.

I care because I off-road my truck frequently. However, I'd prefer to not start chopping at the cab mount unless I absolutely have to.

Yes, it came with the following Toyota accessories and after market parts, sorry for the huge font, I just took a screen capture of where I have it listed.

I do too, over time I've ripped some of the plastic off. Youll usually only rub bad with the wheel turned in reverse.

I'm fine with trimming plastic. I'd prefer to not get my cab mount chopped.

I’ll trim plastic all day. I am not a fan of cmc. In theory I guess it’s fun but just couldn’t get to that point. I’d go another Avenue

Wheel offset plays a big factor with how much you will rub, shit my caster is at 3.8 and I still had to do a very aggressive cmc. Stance too dank.

I took the wheel spacers off and I’m back to see if it will make a difference. I will keep you all updated on the results.

Yeah spacers create a more negative offset which will cause higher potential to rub.

Yeah your castor is likely setup pretty nicely. That plus the wheel offset (+15 I believe) is helping clear.

The tire shop i was at refused to move anything out of factory spec.

Tomorrow, i'm going to visit another member here on TW at TireDiscounters to get a second opinion.

How size tires/lift? and does it wander?

This. I don't know that anyone with 285s doesn't rub off-road unless CMC'd. Wheel spacers make the issue worse at the cab mount.
