I've got TRS HID headlights, Amazon light bar, Amazon led pods, and Amazon RGB strips. The only problem I have with rf dirty appliances is my subwoofer, crossing into my CB.. Heck with CB though.

I'd also recommend connecting directly to the battery instead of through a fuse panel.

    I did.
    Arduino nano $2
    Resistors: $1.50?
    HC-05 bluetooth module $6
    TRRS 3.5mm jack: $.50
    2n222 transistor: $.15

I milled my PCB. You can use protoboard or use JLCPCB for cheap. Powered with USB on the nano but feel free to add a small li-ion battery and charge circuit for about $10.

This is all off the top of my head. Your numbers may vary.

Think microcenter will have the resistors and transistor in store? Just so I can avoid buying a large quantity

I live in the rural southwest. I don't know what microcenter is. Want me to send you a kit? I have more of everything.

Why? He is not running through the vehicle fuse panel. I run the same setup and have no issues. The only LED's I have though are my SS3 Fogs.

I ran through the a panel for years, no issue, added some LEDs, no issues. My next vehicle, added different brand LEDs, couldn’t get within 3 ft of it without crazy RF from LEDs. Every setup, every LED is different.

Anyone have a C1 (.1uf / 1 kilo volt) ceramic disc capacitor sitting around I can buy. I don’t want to buy in large bulk.

Should be able to get just one on Mouser, Digikey, Newark, etc. Shipping will be the main cost; usually its worthwhile to order some other stuff while you're at it.

Finished my Hammo Can this morning. Really pleased with how it turned out! I've got a cell phone suction cup mount on the way that I will use for the faceplate.

Thanks to whoever posted the link from another thread. I've had a tech license for a couple years, and it's been great learning something new. Mt Vaca (k6mvr/n6icw) is about 50mi away but it's easy to hit even on the HT.

The truck has a 7900 on a pedestal mount, still on the fence about drilling for an antenna. So for now I just have a 1/4 wave wilson mag mount.
