I've had the same small trailer for 10 years and never had a plate for it. Been pulled over 0 times.

My father doesn't bother with any plates on his truck and hasn't been pulled over in MO since I can remember

its okay im in the same boat as you... i was driving in my town slowly to avoid the pools of water and got pulled over for no front plate...

 

That's your problem. Speed limit in MO is "Posted Sign +5-10"

i was going 20mph.... to avoid deep water in my car its not out of the ordinary in my old town the road drainage is awful. the cop that pulled me over was new and trying to prove him self

haha i really want to lower my car but with my new driveway my front lip hits the curb if i dont go at a certain angle so no lowering kit for me

 

I knew a guy that used this theory to cross water crossings in his accord. Never had a problem.


I did pull a guy with a hydrolocked explorer out of one of those crossings though
