My little 5100’s bump me up to about 19” , so probably around 16 or 16.5”?

 

1997 SR5 4x4 TRD with stock 31s

 

Do you want a measurement with clapped out springs? I've got a 98 4x4 with 31x10.5x15 on it I can go measure... but it has the stock leaf packs and their mustache shaped at this point

 

Sure... it's not a big deal, I am trying to figure out how much of a 'lift' I have.

 

Front or rear frame rails?

 

Yea that was the 1st gens nickname. It was so car like interior wise for the time.

 

Don't forget to factor in tire diameter

 

Directly under cab, just behind middle body mount.

So, 31's cut in half is 15.5" to center hub I believe...and 13.5 ground to frame
My ground to center hub is 19", setup for desert is 27" frame height and setup for crawl is 24" frame height.

Desert: 27" - 19" = 8"
Crawl: 24" - 19" = 5"
Stock: 13.5" - 15.5" = -2"

8" - (-2") = 10"
5" + (-2") = 7"

So... I have a roughly 7" lift setup for crawling and 10" for desert.

Seems about correct?

Upon closer inspection it looks like its weeping from my bleeder screw which would make sense since I just bled my brakes a week ago. Hopefully a new bleeder screw takes care of the issue
