Nah, they are just bolt on Pontoons. Big metal tubes.

so far its been pretty good i have hit a raccoon with the car and it was fine nothing broke or got loose but i dont want to test it with the curb into my driveway lol

 

I hit a coyote with my grand am once. Took a chunk of bumper with it.

 

wouldnt doubt it i got lucky when i hit the raccoon now my old kia coupe i had i hit a fat cat on the freeway going 70mph and it messed that front end up! i had to fix a lot of crap. i am glad that car didnt have a intercooler like my si i would have had to replace that as well lol

 

i hit a raccoon with my is250 at 80 MPH. it was not good for the car or the raccoon.
