I'm over it for tonight anyway. I'm working in Lower Sackville tomorrow morning, what time do you normally go to bed after a (wait, 12HR?) night shift?

I generally go to bed as soon as I get home, but I could stay up for a bit. Where abouts is your truck now? I generally get up between 2 and 3 in the afternoon, I could give you a hand with it then, if you're available!

Yeah, 12 hour night shift! The majority of my shifts are 12 hour day/nights!

Truck is at my place in Fairview. I normally work in Sackville 8am-5pm three days a week and two at home but I have to be home at 1pm tomorrow for a home energy assessment. If you could help me out any time after that it would be awesome

Oh that might change my willingness to work on it tonight! I have a compressor and my wife just got home so I have wheels, how much of a process is it getting the pump hooked up?

Takes like 2 mins. Connect to air hose, other end to the bleeder. Turn it on and crack the bleeder and watch the fluid pump. Then close the bleeder and turn off the vacuum.

Thanks for the offer guys @D2. @Canoehead but as much as I love shenanigans I don't think my neighbours want to hear my compressor running all night and I need my beauty sleep. I can take my wife's car to work tomorrow and worry about this later

It's a 2017 SV650! The Gladius (09-14 I believe) was an SFV650, same engine, less plastics and a different headlight!

148k is unbelievable... I don't think I've ever heard of a bike with that kind of mileage!

Dad had a Busa years ago, I popped over to his house the other day with the SV, he took it around the block. When he got back and took his helmet off he immediately started talking about how "Maybe I'd like to get another busa... or an RC51" funny that you pop up with one! I haven't seen many on kijiji or the market place!

Beautiful bike! Does it have that same sort of terrifying "wake up" the 4 cylinder sport bikes have? I took my buddys R6 for a drive and it wasn't unmanageable by any means, but anything over 8k RPM was terrifying.

I remember that ‘busa, he used to take it to Toyota in the summers. They are obviously fast but too heavy for real fun on the street. Terrifying? The Japanese inline 4 600s don’t start to be fun until like 10k rpm. Haha
