What do you guys think, try and turn it myself (if it can be dun by unloading a little while on truck after install, live with it or take it back and ask them to turn the spring a little?

I still use them I set up the awning and refolded it and it ended up folding tight, allowing me to use the handles. I might get red ones down the road so theirs a possibility?

I think if you zoom up you can see how high mine sits above the side support of the rack.

 

yeah I can mount mine a bit higher but I figured the lower it is, less resistance

 

So I'm a little late to the party, but I'm pretty sure these went through our building, lol. Even has all the right stickers... I was looking at them from afar the other night as I've never seen them in that color before... Almost ran into an I-beam I was mesmerized that much. Ok, I'm done being creepy (well for now...)

Speaking of springs, anyone need some 7 Hundos? Think I’m gonna switch back to 14” 600s or 650s especially since the RTT is gone.

 

So I have a chrome gtill I'm not a super fan of. I'm debating whether to drop the cash on replacing it with a black grille of some sort, or to spend the laborious process of sanding down the chrome and then rattle can my existing grill flat black.

Thoughts?

 

my concern was that the end of the spring is right under that tread insert. I’m not sure that would really be an issue but it could create a pressure point. Looking at it more, I don’t think they tightened that nut all the way down. I’ll have to check that when it’s mounted up though.

 

Everytime I see a license plate mounted on a grill like that I wonder how much airflow is being blocked to the radiator, condenser ect...

 

Oh I know. It's temporary - I have a bracket ordered that's coming in soon. No loads, and it's the opposite side of the transmission intercooler. Should be fine for the next week until my no-drill bracket comes in.
