    weird weather today. cool, kinda windy, cloudy. stayed cool enough i just left the windows open, no AC. hopes this helps the fire crews. still pretty smoky here though.
    looking forward to camping....4 whole days to myself. was hoping to leave tonight but i'm not packed. so i gotta get my butt out of bed early and get on the road

    gotta put in water. finish packing my food. filter drinking water. charge camera, laptop, kindle. woulda done most of that today but work was swamped and i didnt have the time.
    plus my destination is about 4 hours away. and no convenient camping along the route unless i stop at a walmart 1 hour or 3 hours in. i don't like to drive unless i'm alert.

    and i may have needed an adult beverage or two after work.

    Good morning all. Friday! Bit of a tough week. Too hard to explain but let’s just say a senior manager had a few words that weren’t necessary and downright offensive. After letting it sit for a day to allow me to compose myself, I went back and cleared the air. ‘Heat of the moment’ was his excuse. Didn’t buy it, found it offensive, and made it clear.


    Steroid buzz at 2am isn’t a pleasant feeling. I was on it for about 10 years throughout my 30’s. Talk about being crotchety...
