Yes they work with them a lot, but usually carb lags hard on getting the EO approved. I would be surprised if you see an EO in the next 6 months.

 

Is the kit you guys have available for purchase?

 

One thing that I do like from the vid is that the SC blends in with the motor, some SC's like in the second gen are very loud and just sounds a bit like an annoying high pitched whine.. but I might be wrong and sound better in person.

I do agree that it sounds amazing with a V8 for example and at least on the 3rd gens I like what I hear so far, only a bit annoying on quiet motors where whine is all you hear but that's just imo..

 

I've had both the 3.4 and 4.0 supercharged and they sound great IMO. None of the Tacomas are going to sound like a blown v8, especially a 3.5l v6 with smaller displacement. Either way, a supercharger makes any motor sound better

Anyhow it just seems like my stock Tacoma as slow as it is could of done that. Also didn’t really hear much whine from the charger. Just seems like a disappointment. But it’s not my 7 grand. I can’t wait to race a naturally aspirated tuned against my blown V6. Magnuson has many world records under there belt. OV has none. Let the haters hate. Everyone gets there opinion right. Just so ya know, Magnuson used VFTuner to make their tune for the SC. Sooooo if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't be having a production ready SC.
