    @krap22 OP:
Batch 1-5 hand labeled (starting with batch 6 they stopped hand labeling). Batch 1 front says Single Barrel, the rest say Small Batch.

Favorite Colorado whiskey is A.D. Laws. Try their white label Bottled in Bond edition sometime if you find it ($80ish).

Otherwise, been enjoying the heck out of some Yamazaki 12 that we just found for a good price at our local shop.

A lil this a lil that.
unfortunately the distributors aren’t helping the situation out. In my opinion they’re a good part of the reason the stores are ramping up the prices. Only way to find msrp on good bottles, especially in CA is to find a major chain (total wine) that has it in stock.

To be fair, that is the out the door price for me, I think if you pull all the taxes off it's around $17.99. Considering I have been trying to find it around here for better than a year just to try it I don't mind a couple extra dollars.

Had some nice Orange flavored Appalachian Whiskey. Not bitter,, just creamsicle orange with a tickle. The jar didn't last long between buddies. Another one was procured at random, just to check the batch, to make sure.

Any Total Wine Grand Reserve members? Check your email; time for the annual lottery. Much different line up this time. I was able to get a Thomas Handy rye last time and traded it for an Old Rip Van Winkle. Fingers crossed for something this time. I've had the regular Angels Envy and the Rye. Didn't care for either, so they rank low.

From the looks of it, I'd say mouthwash. I think someone repurposed the bottle, judging by the stuff in the background.

Taylor probably has the best secondary value

what is the celar collection exactly?

I have 2018 cask strength, so good, takes an overly sweet whiskey and makes it delicious

You + me = grand reserve

My lady friend might rip my head off if I brought home that much whiskey/other alcoholic beverages

Someone is a Michter's fan! I'm finishing a small batch bourbon bottle now... I heard a bunch of 10 year SiB hit the Sac area BevMo's today, but were gone quickly.

Local liquor store has Weller Full Proof at $399. I went home with the Henry McKenna 10 year single barrel BiB for $60 instead. Never had it, but I hope it's good.

McKenna is good, was $40 here until last summer and the bumped it to $50....almost think its priced out now for me. It’s value is what made it so popular.

but if you never had it and it’s probably hard to find $60 isn’t bad, I’ve seen it for $100.

I may be able to get Little Book Chapter 4, purportedly for $89. I've never looked at LB, primarily because I really haven't seen one. Am I wrong to assume that's a great price?

Yes. The answer is yes that is retail, slightly less than here if ever available. I have all other chapters and am looking for that one. I'd say jump at it. Or two or three if you can! :drevil::D
