Not sure about my install

I installed the following onto my truck.

Blistein 5100 all around
OME 881
Wheelers 5 leaf
steering rack bushings

I am not sure I like the 881's. I have a big Leer topper on the back of my truck and with the 881's it is perfectly level and I think I would have like about an inch of rack. Also after the install my wheels are showing a postive camber like this V. I am going for an allignment tommarow and I hope this corrects the camber.

Kind of wish I went with the 880 insteed of the 881's with my topper.

Also my rear 5100 shocks only have about 5 inches of compression travel on them. I am hoping I do not bottom them out. I have them installed correctly, I check 3 times.

Everything is torques to specs and I have retorqued everything twice. Only the U bolts on the springs needed the retorqing. I will do those a 3rd time tonight.

I think the steering rack bushings were the hardest part. I stripped the bottom D ring braket bolt with the impact gun and had to retape to 5/8-11 bolt. That is all torques down now.

I weigh 120lbs and torqing some of this shit was a pain. But I did get it all down by my lonesome (wife was studing for a test, Buddies all left town for Veterians Day).

Sounds like you got everthing installed correctly. Anytime you change the vehicle ride height, an alignment needs to be done. We do have an extra leaf available for that 5 pack, if you feel you need it.

Yea sorry about the spelling on my post. I was posting this at work while listening to a coworker whine about our boss. Really nice guy but he is about as smart as a box of rocks and our boss gets anoyed with him.

Do you guys think a diff drop is needed?

 

how do your cv angles look? if they are fine then forget about the diff drop. even if they are bad, alot of guys don't like using the diff drop.

Post up pics of your CV angles if you can but I doubt you'll need a drop kit.
