I work on base, so I have a higher risk of it being an issue. I had gotten a warning already because the dealer put the front stickerless tag on the back by mistake. And that was day 1 lol

Tundra has a front tag. I don't want to get hassled by the mall cops.

Your situation is different. I've been running this old California plate on the back since 2007. Md tags are in the trunk.

Yeah but Dave, you’re probably the nicest guy here and the most likely to get away with it

I bet I wouldn’t make it a week without one. Then again there are plenty of people looking for an excuse to get me :anonymous:

I ran unregistered 1970 Md tags on my 70 camino and unregistered 1965 Md tags on my 65 caddy for many years, registered tags were inside the vehicles. All my classic cars I ran like that. Never had to worry about speed cameras lol.

Roof rack question- what did y’all do with the rubber trim on the roof after you install the rack? I ended up cutting mine up and I don’t think I’m happy with it. I also made a complete mess with about a whole can of RTV... any pics would be greatly appreciated...

Are you talking about the weatheratripping? Here's what I did - I measured it out, found the bolt holes, and used the spacers from my PRINSU to trace circles on the top. I then used a razor knife to cut along the tracing, using a pair of snips for the interior cable. That way the strip can remain, with the rack spacers inserted through it. No photos at the moment

No pics but I used a 3/4 inch leather punch to punch holes at each of the mounting locations. Placed Hershey kiss sized globs of silicone at each mounting location, placed the weather strip down, and put my spacers in. I have a leather punch kit you can borrow If you need it
