I must be extremely unlucky. I’m 0 for 6. The past 6 wheels I’ve had mounted and balanced or work done all 6 scratched.

The best price on BFG KO2's I've found is at the Toyota dealership in town and the salesman said the shop manager won't mount them on new wheels because they've scratched so many. DO BETTER THEN

No scratches on the first mount, Discount tire did pretty good.

Anyone running these wheels on stock suspension? I'm not sure if i should go for the 4.5" backspace or the 3.5" backspace. It looks like the 3.5's are a little more deep dished (not sure if this is true or i'm crazy haha). Ideally I would like to also run these with a 255/85/16 but i'm not sure if it would fit. Anyone running this setup?

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
Back when I was a kid working in a garage we had nylon inserts to use when mounting/breaking tires on wheels to protect the wheel. Weird how tire shops don’t have the tech to protect nice wheels.

Sreppep, would you mind posting a photo looking straight down the side to show how much they stick out past the flares? I'm trying to decide on backspacing. If there's a photo of that already on here that I missed please point me to it. I haven't yet seen that angle photo of a first gen '01-'04 16x8 3.5 BS.

    I’d say a 1”-1.5” past the flares. I’ll get a pic tomorrow

Sweet! Thanks for posting. Those don't look like they stick out as much as I was expecting. They are 3.5 BS correct? Do they sling a lot of mud/grime on the side of your truck with this offset?

I havnt had them in the dirt yet but I’d imagine they’ll sling up a little and yes 3.5 backspace

07 TRD Sport 4x4, I’ve finally decided on my set up:

    SCS F5, Dark Bronze
    17x8.5 -10mm offset
    w/ 285 70 17 Ridge Grappler
    Icon 0-3.5” coilovers w/ add a leaf

    1. Will I have rubbing issues?
    2. Will it look good? thanks guys!

I'm not familiar with the 2nd gen's so I don't really know about potential rubbing issues but I bet i would look great!

    Missing UCAs in your list
    1. Yes - cmc and then there might be a little rubbing on plastic bits at full lock. If you go 255/80/17 (skinnies) you could probably avoid doing the CMC.
    2. Yes

I’m lifted a hair over 2.5” in the front with SPC UCAs and have been running stock sport wheels with 285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers and 1.25” spacers without rubbing the cab mount. Had to trim a lot of plastic up front but no issues in the back.

Will have the 17x8.5 -10 F5s mounted up here soon. Should only be sitting a tiny bit further out than I was and with enough positive caster (have to get an alignment anyway after swapping the power steering rack) I don’t expect the cab mount to be an issue. But I will let you know if it is.

Fml. Don't know what happened, just noticed it today...anyone have ideas on how to repair it? Want to treat it before any rust build up..

Mine weren't that bad, but each wheel had chips after balancing. I used a model paint brush and some spray paint. Douse the brush and lightly dab. Lay it on a bit thicker. Let it settle. Mine came out pretty ok. Cant tell where the chips were
