Up $314 right now... don't seem to be able to set a trailing stop loss for options on Webull. If I can, I can't figure it out. I have been able to do it with securities.
I have until end of day today right?

I have a little better understanding of options now. Still far from comfortable with them.
Seems like way lower volume in general than securities, making last minute stuff riskier.

I've been trying to get IHAK and FBCG to chase me down, but they won't go as low as I try and get them to go. Same with trying to add more CSCO. We will see what happens in 2 hours and in 4 hours. I think those are when the daily dips happen for me.

Options are all risk. But you get a nice reward. Some tips from what I have found working well with me.

Always buy on a red day. I bought calls in FB, Netflix, Roku, Cisco, and Apple today.

Find some big name companies and buy some options a week or two out from their earnings date. I had multiple 100 percent gains using this method.

Do not play the weekly options. Give yourself a few months of play. I buy at the min 2 months out. The decay will kill you if not.

Most import of all is to have a get out plan. Get in and get out, treat it like a one night stand.

I only buy calls and not puts. Just how my brain operates. Also, I been trading stocks for the past 20 years. Options the past 3 months. So take this advice with a grain of salt lol

I'm up on FLIR. Sold VRM, MESO this morning from trailing stops. VRM should have set a higher trail $ I did .20 and lost out on the bigger spike but, oh well, took my donuts. Might look into buying back in end of day or Monday. XME sort of down.

Does anyone know a chart that shows the daily $±?

For example, it shows that 1/1 is +.05 1/2 is -.03 1/3 +.06 etc etc. not the cost, but the change from that day only? I want to use this in learning setting stop loss $ to learn what my daily "normal" changes are rather than guess, etc.

Options volume varies by the stock...Some like F will have thousands traded daily...
Something with very low options volume is obviously much riskier because you need a buyer.
I got stopped out for my last put. I had a trailing of $0.30 set at $1.90...so I'm out of that one at $1.63...
So all told it was 3x145=$445. Sold for $513. 15% return overnight...Imagine if you had 10K to play with...that's how the rich get richer!!!
Now I'm looking to buy a long call with that $$ on the dip.

VERY pleased to see STZ still climbing...I've got the $185 16OCT20 call...and I'd like to make some $$ on it...

I wish I bought another call when the shares were at $170...but it's tough to buy into a down contract position...

Draft of what I'm looking for. The gold line shows the stock price, but the blue line is showing the daily change. So, 1/1 (I know...) it was -16, then jan 2 held at 0, jan 3 -18, jan 4 +2, etc etc. I'm looking for the blue line. I know I can easily find the data and do it myself, wondering if there's a tool that already does it for me though. Just a daily track of how much it went up or down that day, is what I'm looking for.

what strike price are you looking at? I assume it's a % difference from the current price.

I think you're looking for a "Chart" of the options prices for the last xxx period of time..These are hard to deal with because the options SHOULD move with the share prices...

Interesting. I thought news of a month long Senate recess with no relief package would have tanked the market today. Most of my equities are up for the day!

    So far...

My retirements are all red, as expected for a Friday.
