Whoa man....we don't need them. The energy drink craze is already out of hand (imo). I can't wait to see the news reports in a few years when all these teens and early 20's have their hearts ripping out their chests because they drink that stuff regularly.

Stories are always fun. Let's hear it.

But yeah, I've already heard lots of crazy tales from "energy drinks" so far. I know of friends of my daughter (11 years old) that drink them on a regular basis. My best friend (who is a fitness trainer and expert on nutrition) has told me about the way many of these kids are setting themselves up for weak hearts by the time they're 20. Just boggles the mind.

All this talk about 4 lokos has got me about to run to the store to go get one. Every once in a while I'll start off with a 4 loko then switch back to my beer.

kk, waaaaaay back like 5 years ago when red bull started, the first generic copy (Up here in canada anyways) was called "Stoked", basically a litre and a half of red bull. actually written on the side "Warning to not drink more then half a bottle a day"
Drank a full one eat day for about 2 weeks and had heart palpotations and was rushed to Emerg. Like a minor heart attack i guess? I don't know I'm not a doctor. So now i only drink energy drinks with my alcohol and not just a few a day. but seeing as how i drink twice a week....

If I ever leave TW mysteriously, might be why xD

I'll watch for that Marcel. :D

I might have an energy drink once every 2 or 4 months. When I go to my brother-in-laws place, and we do reno projects - I might have 1 or 2 on the whole weekend. But I've heard of people drinking 1 or 2 a day, regularly - and they find themselves with heart palpotations as you had.
