Got my new beadlocks balanced today, so the truck is actually driveable, need to break one down and look at the bead because it has a wobble to it.

Then I went out and found a rock to test the new rear suspension. I think everything worked out the way I wanted. I will eventually need a trac bar with this set up. Passenger side only had 10.75inches shaft exposed so it has more travel. If the springs will let it.

As far as I know, they don’t come black, you have to paint them. I found a Used set that I sand blasted and then painted.

Fresh rubber day. Off with the Hankooks (which served me well for 42k), on with the Falkens. Same size (265/70/17) hoping they live up to the hype.

My process was somewhat simple. After multiple failed previous attempts, including an attempt to weld an allen socket directly to the drain bolt, I purchased this extractor kit and followed the recommendation given for drill bit size. After a few attempts (this was my 3rd or 4th try, can't remember) I was able to successfully remove the drain bolt by hammering the extractor in place and turning it out with a 3/8" ratchet and a cheater pipe.

No but I should. Just been periodically posting in ripcords diy thread. But I should probably start a thread of my own at this point. Just got the call my panels are done being cnc’d out. Hoping to make its maiden voyage over Labor Day!

Mine are just stock 16” 2nd gen TRD Offroad wheel rustoleum rattle canned black. Nothing fancy. Will prolly give them a fresh coat when I get tires this fall.
