What quick release did you get, i can't find a good 90° fold that doesn't rattle so maybe the quick release is the way to go

Antenna, coax and all mounting hardware, including the quick release, is Firestick. The coax is their Firering stuff.

Got most of it thru https://www.rightchannelradios.com but they didn't have the 9' Firering coax I wanted in stock so ended up getting that thru this place - https://www.wearecb.com

Actually, the antenna is a Wilson fiberglass, the rest is Firestick.

Did you know firestiks headquarters is in Phoenix, I drove there last time. The guys are super nice.

I'll have to look up their release.

I've just read so many good things about them so I figured it was only logical to get some for the 4R.

I run Wheeler's on the Tacoma and have tested them out; very soft and I dig it.

Can't wait until I have the pile of junk all ready to go.

@eon_blue you run Durobump up front don't you?

I had his bumps, seem well made, they're soft for sure so they split but they're cheap enough that it isn't a huge deal when they finally turn to mush

Yeah I've had them on for awhile, first set had to get replaced because they broke apart but he gave me a new set free of charge, said he changed the formula for them and they were more durable. I was part of the first group that he sold to when he started the company.

The second set is faring better but one side is a little split at the top.

    Cool thanks

The mall limits where one can drive their vehicle so it'll be parking stop curbs and speed bumps for me

Don't know about their vendor status.. I'm a couple of weeks behind you on bump stops. I need to call DuroBumps to see what they suggest for a rear 100. I see people using 3rd gen 4R bump stops from Wheelers for 100 series all the time. So I'm not worried about those. Keep me posted on how you like those. I just got the 100 back from the body shop today.

Lol have to remember, I'm just stockpiling a bunch of parts.

I'm hoping it's with me by the end of this month, which is when my links should arrive.

Like Zane mentioned they are soft which is why they ride so nicely, but if you're wheeling and hitting your bumps then it's bound to happen where some rocks/debris is going to get smashed between them at some point. Or just the sheer constant battering of the bump against the strike plate is going to wear it down over time.

So just don't hit the mall curbs too hard and you should be good

Gotta pick my truck up from getting an alignment, finally. Been dealing with a hard right pull for some time and curious what my numbers were at. Right front tire was wearing unevenly.

truck handles way better without the weight of the 35s on a large offset pushing the steering around
