So I have a set of 2 ton jack stands that I use for my cars. Can I get a 3 or 4 ton set for the front end of the truck and use the 2 ton in the back. Assuming that i can match height to keep it all level.
    Thanks

In terms of physics, if you have a 2 ton vehicle and put a 2 ton jack, the truck should be ok since the forces are cancelling each other out. Having four 2 ton jacks is more than adequate.

You’re fine. Even if it’s not level it’s fine. Most of the weight is in the front of the truck. Also, 2 of your jack stands alone can hold up the truck. You have plenty of safety factor.

You're way ahead of the curve..

Mix and match rated jack stands are fine, the more the merrier.
Minimize the time in the air as well as the number of bodyparts under the vehicle.. that's always been my goal.

Your curb weight (stock) is only 2 tons. You can use 2-ton stands front or back. Just make sure you placed well and stable.

They're surprisingly strong, my old redneck neighbor had cars on jackstands for years.
