That looks super clean. Plus the party pulley..

Whats up with the big blank though, no power mirrors? I didnt even think that was an option on these trucks

Have any of you replaced your front turn/DTRL with an LED bulb and gotten it to function normally without hyberblinking?

I know I'll need resistors or a relay of some type, as I can't find a canbus integrated bulb anywhere online. If any of you have a suggestion, please let me know.

This truck was stolen in Los Angeles and written off as a complete loss. It has odometer inconsistencies. This used car lot is shady, just like Georgi's in Denver - claiming their Tacomas have clean titles when they are salvage/rebuilt/totalled.

Weird. Sure looks like a clean well-cared for truck

Looks are deceiving. I've been on the search for a clean 2012-2015 Tacoma and you'd be surprised how many "clean title, no accident, one-owner" trucks are a complete lie. That or the ads don't show photos of the issues.

:notsure: IDK man, legal issues aside like insurance and all that, I would consider that truck if I was looking. As I said before, seems a good bet who ever owned it before these guys got their hands on it took care of it. I mean, youre not going to not take care of something youve done that much work to.. I would almost bet whoever did that work to it has or had an account on here.

Am still looking at different options for my truck in regards to the suspension. It is just shy of 101,000 miles now and I was able to find the Original TRD Pro rear shocks, front shocks and springs at McGeorge Toyota for my truck. They need to order them but was told they can get it.

What do you all think, even though the suspension is new, the shocks have been sitting on a shelf for 5+ years. Any concerns about them being that old, like seals, ect?

The VLEDS V6 Triton’s are what I have now and are really bright. The fronts use CK bulbs and the rears are standard. When you’re filtering your search on their website, it’ll automatically give you the proper option. All 4 of course do use resistors as you’re aware. They’re on the expensive side, yes, but they run sales fairly frequently. Although I find their screws method for the sockets odd, I’ve had zero leak issues.

When I ordered the original Baja suspension recently, they were surprisingly in near mint condition! I did have to scuff minor surface corrosion on a pair of those struts last year I guess because of the source. The Pro Bilstein’s have a zinc coating applied, not the Baja from what I understand. No leaks at all. Just inspect the set when they arrive as I’m sure you’d normally do. McGeorge is great to deal with!

You're the man, thank you! Not opposed to the extra price for something that will work properly haha

All good, man! I love the non-egg yolk look. And VLED’s have been around for a while so I can usually trust their products. However, do NOT get their fancy parking/side-marker lights. For lack of proper terms, they do not seat well into the socket and was a biiiitch to get out of the housing lol

    lol duly noted.

I personally have never had a desire to replace parking/side marker lights. they're so insignificant to me I honestly don't even notice them lol.

Mine are just over 5 years old and over 100,000 miles and they still look almost new except the very bottom of the coil springs which are rusted, rest look great. Just a bit on the fence, new ones from dealer are already 5+ years old and I would probably put another 4 or 5 years on these, which would make them 10 year old shocks.

Yours look nearly immaculate!! When I had my original ones removed just before 50,000 miles, they’ve seen much better days lol. Well if it helps any, the Baja is 1-3 years older than the Pro. So when I bought my replacements, they’re already older than what you’d find for yours. Plus yours will have the zinc coating which helps corrosion

it’s my daily driver, and believe it or not, the tire in the picture showing the tread, those are the original tires with 100,000 miles.

you bring up a good point about the Baja suspension being older.
