I have a 2020 OR w/ 2.5 Kings and 315 Cooper STT Pros. Living in an apartment w/ a parking garage I'm already cutting it close to scratching my roof w/ the garage clearance being 6'8. I've been trying to figure out how/if I could make a RTT work w/ probably only abour 3-4 inches left to play with. I've thought about doing a mid bed rack and something thats like an iKamper mini size could possibly work but hopefully without the price tag lol.

Anyone else dealt with this issue before or have any good ideas of possible ways to make it work?

Also pretty convinced I'd have the same issue with putting a roof top rack on at this point. I could P O S S I B L Y make it work but I know for a fact I wouldn't even be able to put anything on it, to give you an idea with the amount of space I have left to play with lol.

I think a mid-height rack would work with a skycap mini. I have been doing research on them and on top of my mid-height CBI rack, the Mini exceeds the roof height by just a few inches. I've also seen pictures of some trucks with racks that span the top of their bed with no additional height other than the bars.
Here's my taco with the CBI rack. no tent yet.

I think a mid height rack with a hard shell tent is your best option if you want to keep it cab high or lower.

I have the kbvoodoo hi-rise cross bars and an iKamper XCover. Together the RTT sits just below the roofline of the truck.

Another vote for KB Voodoo Hi Rise bars. I have that combined with a Roam Vagabond RTT.

Note: these KB Voodoo bars are the only ones designed to work with a tonneau cover if that matters to you.

Agreed. Unfortunately I live in an apartment complex so I only wish I could do the same thing with the hoist system.
