My wife is the most anti-marijuana person I've ever known lol. They're opening a CBD store in town and she's pissed about it, I've reminded her a dozen times that CBD is not the same as marijuana but she doesn't care lol

 

Lol whats her reasoning? She like alc and hate weed? Those peeps irk me no offense

 

Anti pot and from cali? Unpossible.

I dont smoke it or use cbd, and couldnt really care less about it as an issue. Legalize it and be done with it so people stop using it as a political platform. Treat it no differently then how they treat booze.

 

She hardly drinks too, doesn't really take anything. Won't take Tylenol unless it's a last resort.

Addiction runs in her side of the family so it just hits her close to home. She was married before me for a few years and her ex got way into it (among other things) and sorta lost his mind, long story short. There was way more to it than that though.

Anyway I'm on the complete opposite end of the spectrum on that subject, but I don't partake myself. Even in my younger days weed was just never appealing to me. But it's just one of those subjects it's not worth arguing about lol.

I’ve kinda wanted an IS300, but I don’t know if I want to pay those prices.

The nice thing about a Crown Vic is not many people have the balls to break into/steal a potential cop car haha

 

Gf has her card, so i dont say no to an offer. Always respect others opinion, but the people who say theyre "anti drug" and bar hop on the weekends are dummies

 

IS300's do seem to get a good amount of attention so I dont know if I would daily one in a city like SF. Also, I personally dont want another car that old unless its something really unique and special. Ive really grown to appreciate the tech of more modern vehicles.

Really the only early 2000's car that I want to own one day is a 5th gen Honda Prelude. Always liked the body style, and its a pretty rare sight in my neck of the woods.

 

My buddy has a fifth gen Prelude. Fresh rebuilt engine and paintjob, think they found oil in the coolant reservoir so it scared the seller into selling it for $2,500. Turns out it was just residual coolant from when the engine blew the first time.

The crown vic is so stupid simple, they never changed anything for over 15 years. You can get into a 2001 CVPI and it'll look identical to a 2011 CVPI.

 

Id take a Marauder. But other than that there really isnt anything else about that platform that intrigues me. Its about the most boring vehicle platform I can think of.

The idea of having a P71 sounds cool. But all the ones I see locally are trashed. If I could find a clean one Id consider it.
