I wish I was that smart. I was racing the rain that came in yesterday afternoon. Just checked my headliner, looks like I’m dry at least. Might have to order a new set of weatherstripping and try again with y’all’s ideas.

He hit me on the passenger side, it’s all caved in, and the rear axle is shifted a bunch, it rolled once in the air and landed on its side about 75’ from the point of impact. I’m doing good, have a concussion, and bumps and bruises. I will miss that tank!

Please let us know if you need anything. Those concussions are serious and shouldn’t be played around with.

Been away from the forum for a bit. Made a big change and replaced my 05 Tacoma with a 2020 Ram 1500. Have some extra Tacoma parts that are free for the taking. Located in White Marsh
PM me if you are interested in any or all. Thanks

Complete Hub assembly - used but still decent, I replaced both at the same time
    Brake lines
Complete set of lug nuts with locks
    Fr brake pads
    Top hats for front shocks
    New key fob
Rear U-bolts and center pins - slightly used-part of the frame replacement in 2015
    New Transfer case output seal
    3 standard light bulbs
    1/4 inch front spacer
1/2 inch carrier bearing drop kit - helps with driveshaft vibrations after a lift
    Rear bumper brackets -aftermarket stock

TacoTwonz on youtube has a good installation video. But instead of a dremel and drill I used dykes and a leatherpunch.

8 hours later, I’m half way through installing my 2TPAM...god God, what a pain in the urethra. Tapping into the 12v cigarette lighter outlet with crimp connectors took a majority of my time. I lost two of them somewhere in the pit of darkness that lurks under everyone’s dash. If any of you want further insights before you buy/install- PM me. There are definitely some lessons learned from this. Will finish up tomorrow and install my tech deck. Then it’s the URD short shifter and that’s my last project for a while.
