My baby. Bought new. 33,000 actual miles. Garage kept. Just put leveling kit, wheels and tires, folding hard tonneau cover and locking tailgate handle on a couple of months ago. I love it!

Waved at a fellow sprucer on the highway yesterday. Got no love in return. :(

    Love how rare these are.

    Obligatory camping pic!

I sold my 1987 Monte Carlo to help pay for the purchase of this truck. I had painted the car
several times and the last time it was with Eastwoods Large flake metallic silver. Which is the
base coat for most custom blended paint jobs like flames and stripes and such.
It was amazing how it sparkled in the sun ( similar to how the older fiberglass boats looked.)
The flake was so large it captured different colors in the sunlight the way A rainbow does.
Super cool effect. At night or in the shade it looked like plain silver.

When I saw this truck the day I picked it up from the dealership it had just been detailed
And I walked out the door with the key in hand and set eyes on this truck in the bright sun light.
I was wowed by how cool it looked. 2 salesmen were standing there and asked me if that was my truck.
(I said yes I just signed the papers on it ) They both said the paint alone was worth it .

With all the extra's somebody paid to add to this truck ( more than $4K ) it was just to good to pass on it.
Just the wheels and tires on it were $2K ... 80 K miles an runs and drives great. I'm the 4th owner and
the interior looks new. Somebody took really good care of this truck. Garaged for sure.
I'm very happy with it so far.

'El Taco Verde' - recently purchased back in June.

    2013 V6 PreRunner TRD Sport [2WD]
    Spruce Mica/Graphite Interior
    Purchased with only 44,200 miles!!!
    I'm the third owner.

Mostly stock, but I am just now slowly starting to add interior/exterior mods.
Came with the bull bar (needs adjusting off of the front bumper) and side steps.
In great running shape & condition. Not a stain, rip, tear inside. No leaks, rust, or dents outside.
I think I got lucky finding this one.

Nice truck From one jake to another, You will be pleased with it I'm sure. I really like mine and it has some room
for some added stuff but not much. I ordered a set of seat covers to protect the OEM seats which are perfect.
And I swapped the gas struts for the tonneu cover for longer stronger ones.

These are really good trucks, I can't understand why somebody would trade such a low mileage truck in.
I'm 4th owner on mine and most of the previous owners kept it about 2 1/2 years.

Hello Jake! The second owner was a repo. Not sure on the exact details other than that.

I hope to drive this Taco for many years to come and look forward to taking on many camping trips! First, I need to save up in order to get a rack for the bed and a truck top tent as those are pricey.

Welcome Jake. Nice find. You should get many miles from your taco and I promise you will never get tired of the color.

I fully agree about the color. In a darker light it looks black. In full sun light it looks like Green root beer.
With all the golden sparkle of the metal flake it has to be the richest color I've ever seen on a factory truck.

I used to have a 1993 Ford Escort that was a Teal color. And it was able to change color based on lighting
conditions. It was nice but it was nothing like this Spruce Mica. WOW.

I kind of was looking for a lighter color but when this one popped up just a 1/2 mile from my house I had to
go and see it . Was blown away when I first saw it in the full sunlight.

You know Jake you always can go with a fiberglass or aluminum topper for the bed and an air mattress - Makes for a pretty
good tent and storage for gear. And a whole lot cheaper.

What kind of wheel/tire combo AND bumper are you working with there? Great Sprucer/set up!

a little compound, a little polish and then top it off with some wax....
after a lot of neglect, I started with the grill and now you can see how bad the hood is in contrast

I used a random orbital buffer on mine when I first got it in March. I just use a piece of bath towel
under the pad to remove dried wax. The Cleaner wax by Maguires works really good. My truck has
a lot of body color surface to cover so it takes a few hours to get everything done and glossy.
