    Hello Tacoma World:

    I just bought a 2013 Tacoma V6 extended cab sport edition from a friend for a crazy low price. Just got it, and so far so good. I decided that after driving smaller, zippier cars that it was time to consider a truck. I just wanted something basic, cheap, and durable because most of my driving these days is back and forth to the hardware store and ReStore. Then my buddy made me an offer I couldn't refuse. It's twice the truck I was looking for, for nearly half what I was looking to pay. I hope to keep this beast for another 10 or 20 years, so I'm looking forward to the shared experience here.

    Modding! Ha! What I've done so far is remove the TRD decals and I swapped hoods with someone that does not have that ornamental scoop. I know a lot of guys are trying to make their trucks look MORE muscular, but I'm big on clean lines and stealth. If I could afford it, I'd put smaller wheels on the thing and lower the clearance by about four inches.
