In my best “knows what you are talking about” voice.... Yeah! Sounds about right! lol. I know very little about Transmissions. Not do I have the capability to drop on yet. Going to be interesting if I end up having to do something about it. Doesn’t seem to be bad yet but I’ll have to keep an eye on it now

Maybe I’ll just sell it and upgrade to a Ridgeline

Yard done. Goes fast with help! Torturing truck battery, then fix greenhouse watering, and clean up pool.

Just keep an eye on it and maybe check the fluid level in the t-case periodically. I wouldnt worry too much, looks to be more of a slow seep than a leak. Quick fix though if you do ever decide to do it, shouldnt have to remove anything from the truck other than a driveshaft and the flange.

    Good morning Kurt! :hattip:

I WOULD NOT drain and replace your auto trans fluid.

You've got a leaky rear output seal on your transfer case. Unless it's leaving a puddle under the truck each night, you're fine. Many of these cases do it, nothing to sweat. It looks A LOT worse than it actually is and unless it's puddling you don't need to address it immediately.

Open the fill hole and sick a finger in to check the level. If you don't feel oil, add until it spills out. If you add more than a quart, order the seal.

Mine does the same thing but it hasn't yet dripped in my driveway. The oil spreads out into a thin layer and makes it look worse than it actually is.

If/when you order seals, do yourself a favor and replace the bolt with the T55 drain plugs. Makes life a lot easier.

I might have a few spares. I replaced both on the xfer case, the fill plug on the crawl box, and both on the front diff.
