I don’t remember having to remove any hardware around there. It’s just like two bolts in the center of the strainer and it falls out.

You have the wrong one then. The A340E and A340F strainers are different.

You're god damn right about it being odd to navigate.

I ordered Resz Lower Links 2 weeks ago -

    https://reszfab.com/product/3rd-gen-4runner-heavy-duty-non-adjustable-lower-links-w-duroflex-joints/

But as fate would have it, only issue I have is looking for upper links.

Wonder if I can find any from SPC on that site you linked.

I want poly on one end, and either poly or johnny joint on the other (no heim). Metal Tech offers them for the 4R but they only make them in small batches :frusty:

Should buy the 2 variants offered, and return the one that isn't a direct fit.

I ran into the same thing and just chose to run brake cleaner through mine.

The 'filter' is just a screen; I'll replace it one of these days but I too had the "wrong" replacement when I got one from Napa.

Firefighters in CA get chased down a hill by a Texas Longhorn, haven't seen one of those since I lived in...well, Texas.

@Kwikvette - I've been looking for opportunities to try out the front locker. I like being able to independently turn on the front. The rear is LSD that still works what I can tell. So I live on roughly 2/3 of an acre with a decent sized back yard. I have access to the back yard from the street.

Lately, I've been driving through the back yard to get to the front parking spot. It has been raining more than normal so the back yard is still relatively soft.

I've been getting into the back yard and turning on the front locker. It's a hell of a lot of fun to feel the fronts locked and digging in over the rear.

I think you're going to like that front eLocker.

    I seriously can't wait.

I'll be going through Zuk by the way (I mentioned you having work done by him recently) and he already gave me a quote.

My co worker said he'd still do it, but it would literally sit on the bench for awhile as he takes his time to do it. Since I want to get everything done YESTERDAY, I'll just mail it out to get done.

Zane just reminded me that I need upper links...that's the last piece to the puzzle.

The fun part will be getting the front diff out, but that should come a bit easier since I'll do the front coilovers, UCA, and bump stops at the same time.
