My mom has told me about how much she liked it. Different than how she made pot roast when I was a kid. I'm very intrigued

15lb Boneless Ribeye chubs are/were on sale for $5.75 per lb. I bought 2. I slice about 25 steaks out of each one.

I heavy smoke them for a couple with a wet Oak and Hickory chip mix, then they go on the grill to finish up. Clean plates at the end.

Tri Tip gets the same treatment when I find good ones.

Birthday party tonight. Lil Chief is already making smoke as I sip morning coffee.

The chicken thighs.. and the roast version in the crock pot are both good for those colder days.. not something I expect you'd have down south like we do up here in Canada Iowa

Super easy to be honest. Go to an Asian store and grab you one of the Korean bbq marinade. Pour in a ziplock bag, add meat and let it sit in the fridge for 12-24hrs.
Direct sear both sides. Flip often. Medium is good. Won’t take long. Since the marinade has a lot of sugar, grill will get a little messy

    here’s a few good ones https://youtu.be/w5Uw8Vqqb4g

Good Quality meat speaks for itself. Don’t need to try to make it scream all the time.
