They don't even want you to get out of your car now. You just drive it in the bay and sit with your A/C and Slipknot blasting

Y’all shopping for tires, don’t forget about the 255’s.

    Lighter and less rolling resistance.

I've BEEN trying to forget them, lol. From the side its fine, but I like the look of wide tires. I need that big contact patch on the road too.

Yeah 5k was too long on the MTR's. Its a poor excuse but I hate dealing with places/people when I can do the work myself quickly, If I'm not being too lazy. Which is also why I said it was likely my fault and not blaming the tires.
Options are as bad or worse than C or D rated choices. Also like @Suprajim54 I'm a sucker for the wider look that doesnt fit as well. Cant seem to talk myself into trying the 255's even with their benefits.

Also, it looks like all of the 255/85r16's mud tires on DT are at least $40 more per tire.

    As it should be...

I love the no nonsense oil changes of the 4.0 with a Fumoto valve. Didn't even get out of my pajamas to do it this morning.

Not a dropped spilled....until I pour the old oil from the pan to the container. Then its usually everywhere, lol

I drain straight to the container with a hose. Works great if you dont walk away and forget to make sure you have enough room in the container to hold the oil...

    Stock skid?
I have to remove 4 bolts on my skid for the access hole to my filter, thankfully its only the access hole and not the entire skid. Wish they would have left it up top like the 4.0's.

Yep. Having to remove parts to service wear items has always been an automotive pet peeve of mine. The camaro takes the cake though. You are supposed to remove the exhaust, driveshaft, rear axle, rear suspension, and fuel tank to change the fuel pump.

I cut a hole in the trunk. Lol.

I have to do the same to get to the fuel filter in the Supra. They say its a lifetime filter, so we'll find out the hard way someday in the future. The stock position of the oil filter in the car also guarantees that you'll spill that oil everywhere when trying to get it out. I relocated it under the headlight now.

Its still only 4 bolts and is at least light. Probably weighs the same as my access plate thats like 4"x4". I do understand what your saying though, thats a lot of work for the camaros fuel pump but really how often would that even need replaced for a stock vehicle(not a drag car)?

    Anyone seen my wallet?
thats why these cooper evolution MTs are winners in my book, they are e rated 285s, on paper they weigh 57lbs but a youtuber weighed em in at 54lbs. Thats only about 6 lbs heavier than the 265 passenger rated wildpeaks i had!

they save the weight in the sidewall, its a new compound in 2 ply versus most other MTs 3ply sidewalls

the price is also unbeatable, 219 a tire, but i found them on Amazon for 161 each and discount tire price matched it for me. The store in mansfield had a 5th tire to unload so they mounted it up on my spare for 140. Thats 784 before fees and taxes for 5 MTs, unbeatable.

Thats a great deal! I'm in no need of tires but will remember when replacement time comes. At that kind of price I wont hesitate to go E rated.

They look great! Find a DT that has five, order 4, and show some cleavage for a deal on the last one.

Had my 02 SS (mostly stock) from 81k miles to 126k miles. Did the fuel pump twice. My 91 (again mostly stock) needed 3 of them in 100k miles. I blame factory GM wiring. One you add a hotwire kit to them they seem to be way more reliable.
