Yea.. and i belong. Those bikes are nice, but ill never spend more than $15k on a bike. I dont keep them long enough

On a more exciting note, I did like @MagtechPA and practiced some emergency braking. Literally zero traffic on the roads I was riding, so I took the opportunity to brake hard. 45-50mph. I need to practice more!! Kept starting to lock up the rear tire and could feel it sliding. Again, zero traffic and able to use the whole road if needed.

 

Now go revbomb east carson street after midnight on the weekends!

I also spent some time in my favorite parking lot with the CBR yesterday. I was practicing low speed maneuvers and leaning while counter balancing.
I need to reprogram my muscle memory because it’s a heavier bike versus the Ninja, and of course, the power difference.
We should all practice like this regularly!

To be honest, I’m a pretty conservative rider, no rev bombing here. I’m like a grandpa on this thing.

I was all over the city this morning, but brought it home because it was going to rain.

That is my exact expression when I look at this thing.

The Yoshi pipe is pretty loud on that. I had the D&D pipe. I thought it was awesome. Try to hit 12k rpms under an overpass

I just got back. It rained a little bit on the ride. Now im at 537 miles. Scheduled the first service for next Saturday. Gotta get my exhaust on, and then put 85 miles and ill be good

New wheels and tires today. Have to modify the front fender now because I can’t fit it back on with the new front tire. Also discovered a need for new brake pads, so I have those coming Tuesday. Also replaced the headlight. Not a bad afternoon.

 

No riding today for me. Finished painting our computer room/office by 10:30. Girlfriend's birthday was 13th and she asked if I'd detail her car for her gift. Just finished exterior and I'm beat. She's only had the car, 2013 Altima, about 18 months but I'm not sure this thing was ever waxed before and it's black. Washed, clayed, washed again, polished out swirls and scratches, then finally waxed. Wheels and tires done. Will do interior tomorrow.

 

do you have a set of drill brushes? If not, go get a soft and a medium at the hardware store. They make carpet and seats go so much faster.
