Working on the Cub 3205 rear diff. Got everything cleaned up, seals in the bearing blocks, diff bolts removed, red loc-tited, and torqued to 23ft lbs. I changed the diff lock shaft seal while I was at it. Getting ready to put it all together with a new gasket and Ultra black sealer. Will let it dry till tomorrow sometime. Maybe 24hrs before I put oil in.

It had a collapsed axle seal and i think someone beat it too hard installing it and ruined it on install. Also several long bolts in shallow holes weren't even touching the cover so the blocks were probably not seated. I welded a nut to a broken off bolt and got it out. It was bottomed in the hole hard so they just kept trying to seat it till it broke off. Whoever took this apart before was an idiot.

Nice! If you didn’t already, I’d recommend you get the rear tires liquid ballasted. It’ll allow you to get closer to maxing out your lift capacity.

Nice mower. I looked at those a little while back but decided on a Bad Boy. I just changed the oil after the break-in period.

Yep, gotta ballast for a loader or it'll be hunkered up like a dog trying to lift anything

My big ass and a box blade make for good counter balance when in “loader” mode.
One bucket load of #57 stone will let you know quick where you stand on ballast

So if you have that one machine. That you’d like to track hour usage on but it doesn’t have an actual Electrical system....$9 and comes in different colors 6CA4E2A6-3310-40DE-A8B4-6FFDD331233E.jpg
Uses an induced current signal from spark plug when running.

Planning on it. I put washer fluid in the tires of the lawn tractor we replaced with this kioti. I think that's an option again this time, but I've talked to a local rimguard dealer, and they're willing to sell me product bulk that I can bring home and fill tires myself. Thinking I might go that route, it's not much more expensive than washer fluid that way.

Got my 3205 rear diff back together and running. No leaks so far. Replaced all the fuel lines and the 2 fuel filters. The rear one was just a screen and was really plugged. Also drained and filled my scaled up radiator with RO water and flush.

Gonna put my gas tank and hitchplate back on and pull my brush hog with this with all the tins off so I can check everything for leaks and let the flush circulate for 6hrs then do it again. I may paint all the sheetmetal while it's off but it is gonna be a bear. Someone can bombed over the factory powdercoat w/o sanding it and it's peeling. May have to strip it all off.

Nice. Just watch the valve stems with Rim Guard. The place I had swap my tire onto a new wheel last year told me that the RG will eat the seals in the valve stems. I'm not sure how true this may or may not be, but keep it in mind.

Spreads so much nicer with a blade than with a bucket. Looks great.

Looks a lot like my BX. Nice ride. I'd like to put one of those next to my BX and see the differences.

Hmm interesting. What's the solution to that? Don't use rimguard? Different valve stems?

    They are similar but different
Kioti Daedong is a Korean machine
Their distribution hub is about 10miles from my house and I’ve been there several times working on their forklifts and scrubbers. Interesting place.
They’ve got a cutaway of one of their tractors in the lobby, I have pix somewhere, they seem to be pretty well built.

I've never run a Kioti, but one of the guys I watch on YouTube (letsdig18) has a bigger one and from what he says they're pretty nice. Good quality compared to the other orange tractor :D I don't think they were around or they were harder to find when we bought our Kubota in 2015ish

No clue, maybe they make valve stems with silicone seals on them or something? Maybe RimGuard would know? The tire place I dealt with says they won't touch it, they use washer fluid, RV antifreeze, or calcium.
