    Last night around 7:40 pm, air traffic control lost contact with a F-22. A search and rescue mission is ongoing. Prayers go out to the pilot's family and friends.

    I have been to the area where the plane went down. It is very mountainous. It is right on the edge of the Alaskan Mountain Range. The weather is not a good thing up there right now too. It was well below freezing last night. It is -2 F up there right now.

    At least the pilot is dressed warm and has survival gear, that is and God willing that he is still alive. I probably know the pilot, I worked up there on the Raptors in 06-08, they haven't released any names yet.

    We had a big 3AMXS briefing this morning.. You know its bad when the colonel starts getting chocked up..

    At least its only 100 miles away and they havent seen the pilot yet. So that could be a good thing..

    I remember having briefings like that up there before, esp when our the Wing commander died. It is a very good thing that he's only that far away and should have all his survival gear.

    It does but its not working.. some people at the shop have there theory's but i dont really wanna say anything because its a theory so its not the fact.

    But right now the ANG have 2 choppers and a C130 flying around in the area..
