They don't make em like they used to..plus most kids didn't take good care of them so even further limits the numbers that survived. The Schwinn I restored looks like crap but even in that shape the seat is $40, stem $40, wheels at least $100 if I didn't clean them up..so I knew I had my money regardless. You might not want to know what I put into the project..I refuse to tell my wife

I'd kill to have a couple of my bikes from my childhood still.

Your lady has a T4R as well, correct? If I read that correctly I would get the Tundra. We had two T4R’s for a year, hers and mine. Sucked not having a truck. Sold my 5th gen and bought the Taco.

Yeah mine had a 01. I traded my 2nd gen Taco for a 16 Trail. Loved it, but having two SUV’s just didn’t work for us. I vote Tundra.

Tell me about it! The used Toyota market in CO is insanity! My girl sold her 01 with 335K miles and a blown Transmission for $3.5K.

Things finally cooled down a bit this weekend so I’m back from a 3 week break.

I’m thinking this is too good to be true, but there an opportunity to get a 2015 Camber carbon for 800. Found it on pink bike. Seller is selling it through eBay. Weird part is, it’s isn’t through PayPal. She wants me to use eBay cards. I’m smelling something a bit fishy. Can anyone confirm?

That's a lot of hoops, makes me think something is fishy.
Also, I'm not positive, but I think I've seen that same photo on a really cheap CL listing for a bike.

It's WILD out there right now. I think (for the second time now), I made it to actual concerning feelings of heat exhaustion creepin' up. Granted, it doesn't help that it was only a couple of rides in from a long vacation with ZERO exercise and I'm out of shape to begin with...

You found it on pink bike and it is fishy payment options? Look real close at the URL and run, that doesn't look like a real ebay page to me

Those low temps are pretty good, though. If you get motivated before 6am, you'd probably be good to go.

That's what I have to do in order to ride in Arizona right now. I woke up at 4am this morning just to get to the trail before sunrise. :headbang:

I recently got a Yakima Bedrock rack with Yakima Top Loaders. Works awesome, fast on and off. No tie down required. And for locking, a cable through the bike to the bed tie down. Still not left out of sight though. It’s nice to have the bed for storage under the bike. I looked around for an in the bed roll in type like you’re talking about prior but came up empty. One that I found would have to be bolted into the floor of the bed. Didn’t want to go there and also wanted the bed for storage so I opted for this set up, glad I did.

This is the one I almost bought. Maybe more of what you are looking for.

Man, the smoke here is getting really bad. The fires are 350 miles away, about a 5 hour drive. Ashes on everything, you can see them falling from the sky all day. Some full sized (burned) pine needles even.

It wasn’t too bad here in FoCo today, until afternoon. Not as many ashes raining down. Yesterday was pretty bad up here, however. Cameron Peak Fire is about 30 miles due west and a new one started up this afternoon in Grand County, east of Fraser.

Those are some amazing but tough photos to see. That area of Cameron Pass is quite beautiful and was a real gem. Friday in Loveland was smoky but late Saturday was really bad here. I was in Estes on Friday and took these shots looking towards the Cameron Pass Fire. I’m thinking from there to the fire which would be due North is about 20 miles.

The white clouds are fresh timber burning.
