Anyone know if I should even out the threads on my otre's after I swap in new itre's? Or is it best to just leave them? I'm getting an alignment immediately after so that's not an issue.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

That little pipe just pulls straight out if I remember correctly. Just take a good picture, for reference, so you put it back the same.

Spent the last few days fixing up the camper and getting our tent on it. Been a whirlwind few weeks getting everything moved over from the prerunner. Need to solve my drawer issue since my original system doesn’t seem to fit the new truck.

However many threads you counted when taking the old ones out is how many you want to thread the new ones in. Will likely still be off alignment wise but should be good enough to get you to the alignment shop

Gotcha, even if they're different from side to side? I guess they set it where it is to straighten the steering wheel anyway.

Turns out the itre's are perfect, so now I gotta figure out what else could be causing play. Gonna do the tack weld mod and then maybe I'll order the updated rack guide, but I'm pretty sure my rack is a shitty aftermarket one that the PO had installed.

Would it be better in the long run to bite the bullet and order a remanned one with the updated guide?

See if Solo Motorsports can help you rebuild that rack with upgraded seals - just give them a call before they get busy early when they open.

Its fun. 500 doll hairs later...... I told my son that Santa, tooth fairy, easter bunny, and all the other lil shits died of covid. But they all pitched in and got him one last gift before they kicked the bucket. I told him he can longer ask for anything again since they died...he's 10... Too soon? Go ahead, flame me....

Came with the windoors. We use the Yakima tracks. I switched the rear door off my grey shell cuz I wanted to keep my stickers, otherwise the shell came as is except the tracks. Nerve wracking for me to install but very simple. I have done it twice now.
