I like your idea of adding the plate. I used that same Slee Offroad bracket for my compressor. It was a bitch to get it all mounted. That would have saved me a million 1/64th turns to get it tightened down wedging my hand in there with little room.

Installed my 2 ExtremeLED light bars today. A 40" white slim bar for my victory roof rack and shoved a 30" dual amber/white bar in my upper grill......yup.....the upper grill. I used a BAMF light bar bracket and I had to fabricate extensions coming out 6 inches on both sides. Then I measured.....and measured again, and used tape and sharpies, and the measured once more before i cut. I think it came out great.

A few mods here and there and counting....
Replaced the flares w RDJ textured units. Will be drilling out the holes w new black hardware once it cools down. Mounted them on for now because the oem flares are trashed/faded/falling off. Most importantly, it provides more coverage for my wheels(-38mm).

    Too few to list.
Added an additional trans cooler to keep the temps down. I’ve seen up to 220 on the UltraGauge when climbing up hills in triple digit heat. Now it doesn’t go above 190 even when pushed hard.
