Looks great on the outside. Guess he only welds the outside. Just wanted to be sure that’s ok structurally before I committed to the install but I guess it’s all good!

 

That's a terrible looking weld. I would not be happy with this at all.

Installed a Plano rifle case for recovery gear and some tools on my KB Voodoo crossbars bars. I can easily slide the case to the edge of the bars, while still giving me plenty of room to put my Tepui rooftop tent on the bars and still being fairly centered. The roof rack I’m using for the recovery boards, kayak mount, and awning.

Anyway, just a month and a half away from my 2 week road trip to AZ, UT, and CO.

For anyone interested in what I used to mount:

1/4” carriage bolts

1/4” fender washer

1/4” wing nut

RTV

1/4” drill bit

 

Haha, I'm married to a girl from BR, so there is no compromise. I have cousins that went to Ole Miss who have to put up with my shenanigans at family events that get to the point where they just walk the other way now.....

 

Thank you! I’m going for more a OEM aesthetic with better performance. I just don’t like flare, simplistic the better.
