Dang... I slept in this morning after our cannonball from New Mexico lastnight and missed three pages of tire and bumper talk. All caught up now.
Frank @Silverspool 4Runner looks slick! I’m running the Yoko MT’s in 295-70-17 and will likely go back to 285’s for price and weight savings. I’m waiting to see the reviews on the new Yoko X-AT’s. Looks like the best of both worlds, if they deliver what they are marketed for.
Jim @Suprajim54 I’m interested to see what route you go on bumpers, those weld-it-yourself kits are very interesting.

Wow I would have never expected that much trouble with them. Figured one should last a lot longer than that.
With welding/grinding skills you could get one done fast. With my welding/grinding skills it should be done within a year.:anonymous::rofl:

You might have that cough looked at. According to Kevin, those lines at the testing facilities are pretty short.

GM does some really stupid wiring. They like to wire things in chains instead of independently. Especially things that are operated at the same time so they multiply draw on the system. I went through a window motor every 3 months until I wired them each with their own power and ground. Never had another issue. Which is why im pretty much re-wiring this whole car.

Prime brisket is back in stock and picked up this homie for $2.69 /lb. I’m going to attempt it on my Weber charcoal grill
