Changing my front diff oil right now and just found this on the magnet. Looks like a needle bearing from when they replaced it with the ECGS bushing. If you got yours replaced I suggest changing the fluid to check just in case. Also Goodluck loosening the bolts, it was a PITA, breaker bar with maximum effort lol

Yeah that’s not good... plenty of easy precautions to avoid that from happening

I agree. We are lucky there’s a magnet to catch some of this stuff but it’s definitely not reassuring that so many people have had such a wide variety of issues. I’m going on a pretty extensive off road trip soon so will definitely keep my eyes peeled for any other issues.

Hopefully nothing else. But for the price I’m still gonna go for it lol

Actually That's BS. That clearly is a needle bearing pin. That is incompetent to leave that in the diff. The first thing you do when replacing a needle bearing is inspect it to be sure it is intact. If not for the magnet that could of did some real damage to your gears. Please bring this to their attention. They need to slow the hell down and do quality work. I'm steering away from them. I'd rather pay more for quality work.

Oh forsure this will definitely be going on my yelp review. I have had zero issues on the rear however for what it’s worth.

I don't doubt their talent at all, I have a problem with their quota. This Group buy helps us but they have to do more gears to make up for less cost. I hear people on TW happy about it only taking a hour or two but that's a bad thing. I've been a mechanic for 40+ years, I don't have the tools needed to do gears and never needed them. It's a job for a specialty shop like them where that's all you do. Just slow the F down and do it correct.

No marks or scuffing on the pin so I’m guessing I got lucky and the magnet caught it early.

Sucks but seeing the mix results so far you’re basically taking a gamble for the price and speed.

Yeah man I can't say I'm super happy about some how the install work, but I didn't know that going into creating this group buy.

I'm 12k miles in now and still solid. I need to drain my front diff though lol, been slacking on that.

People would die if i made those mistakes. You figured after many reviews they would understand some of their issues. Especially to not over torque those plugs. What kind of specialty shop doesnt have a calibrated torque wrench?

Got mine installed this morning, started at 8:30 and had the truck finished around 10:30. 4.88's with REM, so far so good.

They installed 4.88 in the rear and 5.29 in front. Issue discovered when attempting to shift into 4high. Wtf.

For those that going through with this purchase and installation, test 4high before leaving their shop.

They stated what the problem was. The reason for 4high not working was unknown until their technician found the problem. I feel bad dropping names as I know "people make mistakes"
