Left the house to run some errands, found a significant amount of oil on the pavement, and sprayed all over the engine compartment. Looks like the leak is coming from bottom of the engine, and the oil was picked up by the belts and pulleys and sprayed upwards.

Any idea the source? Timing chain cover maybe ?

All that work to the truck and no U-bolt flip? On my last tacoma I actually sheared the heads off one of the bolts of my unflipped axel bolts. Plus it cleans up the look in the back that extra little inch.

If it's engine oil, there's a seal behind the crank pulley that I've had to replace.

Very interested in ordering these. Was thinking BD but for the price these seem to be pretty comparable.

    Couple questions for ya...
Did you go with the Sport or the Pro?
Did they come with a bracket like BD does?
How do you like the light output with these?
What bulbs do you have in your projectors?

We've been upgrading the camping setup and installed a ROLA cargo basket and Yakima tracks! The platform is 3/4" plywood, epoxied, and carpeted. Now time to cut out handholds, pack, and go camping!

If you like the looks of the 3rd gen I'd go for it, buy personally I'm a much bigger fan of the look of the new 4Runners. I personally live the 15's, and you can get a low mileage 15 Tacoma with all the extras for like 24k. Which saves you 10k.

the prinsu awning mounts. frankly, didn't work well. Wasn't able to get the rods that hold out that side of the tent fly into the holes because of the angle. Ended up selling the batwing and trying to sell the mounts as well.

    1. I like your style.
    2. I've been seriously thinking about doing the same thing with mine. Who makes a kit for it? What kind of shocks and springs are you going with? What do you use your truck for? My truck tows a lot so I gotta research that too. I was thinking cantilever in the back and 4 link/SAS in the front. Thanks.

So when redoing my cab mount bushings I followed the suggestion about unplugging things so they don’t break but now I have abs and slip warning lights on. Any suggestions? I only did it so I wouldn’t break them when I swapped the body mount bushings
