What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

How did it only take 10 minutes? Its several hours to remove all the interior pieces to get the headliner out.

Not at all.....the switch went right in

 

Upfitter switches installed into the overhead unit. need to figure out where to relocate the rear e-locker switch now..

 

Looks clean!!!! Where did you get the switch panel to relocate the switch into the glove box? Any pics? Thanks in advance

 

Installed intermittent wiper switch today thanks to the great folks info here on these forums!

Some have said the hardest part of this install is getting the steering column top and bottom separated: I agree with them! It's the most difficult part of the whole process but if you take your time and use plastic panel removal tools it can be done without incident. I tried to take a 'birds eye view' pic looking down on the column so you can see the clips on the lower piece. Hope that helps someone!

 

The access cab third brake light is the same as the 2nd gens, in that you can just unscrew it from the outside and pop it out. It takes longer to remove the old adhesive than to actually install it. Double cabs unfortunately require all that hard work to replace.

 

I put on my new bedside decals, thanks to @CBoy808. That took me a lot longer than I thought it would but they went on without a hitch. I opted for a smaller version than what they normally are, I was worried they would be too big. I'm pretty happy with the size.

I had a few decals left over from coloring the lettering on my shifter so I added them to the doo-hickies.

Nice. Just got email my kit was shipped today. Now I need to order the duel tailgate wire harness protector for her tailgate lock/opener kit.

 

Installed a Blue Sea below deck panel in the bed for power even when the truck is off. I’m glad I went with this location instead of using one of the bed cubby doors.
