you can tarp the cargo in the bed then cargo net it on top tight you got a semi waterproof/weather protected hauler, on the HF net those hooks can be removed and replaced on the net for a tighter fit and for easier storage, love that thing

if you use those tie downs low in the bed it pins the tarp down lower for a little better seal against rain/weather, you can also remove the hooks on the net itself and adjust the placement on the net for a real tight seal

I just leased a Ridgeline RTL-E. That ought to make you guys sick.

Actually I was looking for something with an SUV ride. The RL ticks all the boxes for me. Gone is the "Pick up truck bounce" Still have 5000 towing rating. It will tow my boat and get me up slippery ramps. Has its own version of "crawl control"

Now tell me how the Ranger loses its value.... I paid $39K for it and just sold it to Carvana for $36K..That number was good enough to take the money and run...GREAT resale after a year and a half.

We lease our vehicles now. My Ranger was paid off so I just banked the $36K and lease for $400 a month. Great deal on a great truck.....or SUV or whatever nasty names you guys will call it LOL....Now tell me again about that terrible Ranger depreciation!!!

I'm sorry man. I was preparing for the onslaught here in TTF. I just found it interesting amongst those who believe the Ranger has no resale.
I WHOLESALED the truck and still got a nice number. They will have to price it similar to new to make any money. IM thinking Carvana buys their cars from people like me. CarMax offered $28K!!!!!!!!

Actually it doesn’t. Fill a glass with water. Look at the top of the water. You’ll see that the top of the water is higher on the sides than the center. This is called the meniscus.

Now slowly fill the glass and you can actually fill it above the rim and it will be slightly domed. This is because the surface tension of the water prevents it from spilling over.

    Water isn’t really ever “level”.

Look at the bubble in the level, is it level? Are the "sides" flat or do you take the rounded "edges" of the bubble and put it between the lines?

Great, I think that is the perfect truck/car/boat for you, but not sure which of the 3 it is, maybe just a combo of some of those

I don't want to lose any space with a cover, so I got some storage bins that are as high as the existing storage bins, then I stack larger storage containers on top of that.

A guy I worked with bought new Ridgeline when they first came out. I always asked him if they came in a men's version?

One of the first things I got for my truck was a back rack. Save yourself the embarrassment of launching a log through the back window or having a lawnmower handle roll into the glass. (not me personally, but I was there for both and lemme tell you, my buddy was PISSED hahah)
