    1. I like your style.
    2. I've been seriously thinking about doing the same thing with mine. Who makes a kit for it? What kind of shocks and springs are you going with? What do you use your truck for? My truck tows a lot so I gotta research that too. I was thinking cantilever in the back and 4 link/SAS in the front. Thanks.

So when redoing my cab mount bushings I followed the suggestion about unplugging things so they don’t break but now I have abs and slip warning lights on. Any suggestions? I only did it so I wouldn’t break them when I swapped the body mount bushings

Went up to Nor Cal this weekend to June Lake to get away from all the craziness

rented an off the grid camper since the wife is 6 months pregnant and I didn’t want her to sleep on the floor or on cot in a tent.
1st time towing with the Tacoma at 226k miles
Towed great surprisingly climbing from sea level to 7000 ft.
Also 1st time real world use on 4wd since conversion as well going around different places there that required it to get to :woot:

I believe my 05 had it replaced twice before I owned it. I put on a NAPA one, that way if it breaks again I can get a new one for free

I’ve been looking for a toolbox for a while now, but living on an island, we’re limited to what stores carry here or you gotta pay an arm and a leg to have one shipped. So we went there, noticed they only had full size 70+ inch toolboxes, but online it said they had 2 midsize boxes. Asked a worker there, he called another worker, and she immediately started hounding me about “what size is your truck? What size is your bed? Do you know the exact size?” and I got completely fed up because we’re doing a 5 minute run around about she thinks it’s not gonna fit it my truck and blah blah blah, basically told me I would be wasting her time if she had to go look for the toolboxes and they end up not fitting. So she found one, brought it out to me, and she said it was returned because the toolbox wouldn’t lock. I found that strange because it’s basically brand new with one dent on the front probably from shipping. So her and 2 workers were trying to make sure it wouldn’t lock, but they kept on locking one side but unlocking the other side, they didn’t know for some odd reason that they have to lock a certain way for it to work. I was about to grab the key and figure it out right then and there, but she kept on giving me an attitude about “you’re probably gonna put it in your truck and realize it doesn’t fit and then I’m gonna have to put it back”. So I was already getting frustrated with them, told her I’ll just buy it at a discount price and don’t worry about me coming back because if it doesn’t fit I can always just throw it on my small trailer at home anyway. She said she could do $250, but I told her that I would have to spend money to fix the locking mechanism, and I’d do $150 out the door since it’s been sitting for a couple of months and there’s a dent on the front. She wrote it up for $150, paid for it, walked out and threw it in the truck......which fit perfectly, and showed my girl why the toolbox wasn’t locking for them. So in the end, basically picked up a brand new toolbox with nothing wrong except a small dent on the front at half the cost

I didn't do anything to the actual truck because it was raining all day yesterday. I did however wire up three switches that are next to the power outlets. I ordered two more switches from CH4x4, one for rock lights and the other for the inverter (this one is momentary, the one I have now is switched).
I also made my power mirror harness for the drivers door, installed a 4 pin connector on the CB so I can remove the center console (where the CB will live) if need be and I can add one item at a later date.

trying to get a bunch of electrical stuff done this week so I put my dash back together.

I got a text message yesterday saying I have an appointment with the local dealer. I'll have to call later today because I never made an appointment unless they want me to bring in my truck for the frame treatment.

How's the quality of these light bars? Specifically the White/Amber combo bar? I've been looking into a 40" version of it for a while and haven't pulled the trigger on it yet because I haven't seen a lot of people on here run them.

In all honesty, I really don't know why a lot of people aren't running them. I don't know if people are just looking at the name and thinking that they have to pay more and break the bank. Let me tell you by first hand experience, these things turn night into day. I was going to go with a dual amber/white 40 inch for the rack but I really didn't see the full benefit from the amber on top.

    ● I have extremeled scene lights for the rear of my truck,
    www.extremeledlightbars.com/3-led-scene-light-pair

(120° wide pattern, IP68 Rated, 2-10watt CREE LEDs, Lifetime warranty)

    ●their sideshooter ditch lights,

    www.extremeledlightbars.com/side-shooter-led-light-pod-kit-pair

(3,825 Lumens each, IP67 Rating, Lifetime warranty)

    ● their slim 40 inch rack bar for my victory roof rack,

    www.extremeledlightbars.com/extreme-5d-40-single-row-led-light-bar

(16000 Lumens, IP67 Rated, both spot and flood, Lifetime Warranty)

    ●and their 30" X6S slim amber/white 150w combo beam for the grill.

    www.extremeledlightbars.com/x6s-slim-series-2d-amber-white-30-single-row-led-light-bar-harness-kit

(13,500 Lumens, IP68 Rated, Lifetime Warranty)

The main reasons why I went with ExtremeLED, was for a number of different reasons:
    1. Half the price if not less then RIGID.
    2. Lifetime warranty
    3. 30 day money back guarantee
    4. Most lights come with the wiring and if not you can order them to come with them.
    5. Top notch customer service
    6. Free Shipping on anything more than a $50 order.

Just to make it clear, I am not affiliated or sponsored by them at all as of this date. I did my research and they make really nice lights, at a very good price, and back up their product.
