So I bout the truck in 11 and I got 7 years out of the battery that was in it; it was a Toyota battery, but there is almost no way that was the original right? I replaced it with an a.c. Delco and should have know better than to trust anything gm for very long

I just bought a Die Hard Platinum AGM in the factory-sized battery group. This one should last me a while. I only got 2 years out of my factory one before it died.

Drives so much better. Absorbs all the bumps in the road. Going to get an alignment today.

It was a group of idiots that wouldn’t listen to the folks with experience around them. It wouldn’t have happened if they did

I re-torqued everything after a hundred miles, 500 and checked again at a 1000. It's a good practice to get into. I do this when I rotate my tires too, recheck torque after a few days of driving. I guess I'm kinda OCD about torque values!

Heading to Birmingham to buy steel. Bought some at a place called econo steel supply or something like that last time. Anyone know a cheap place for steel in Birmingham or near it?
